Lupo
COMMISSION: Trompe L’oeil imitation marble based on a 16th Century family Crest: The original motif/insignia resides in the palace of an old noble family, Meli Lupi of Soragna, north of Parma, Italy. My mother’s mother’s side of my family are distant relatives and it was she who commissioned this work of art inspired by my mum and dad’s visit to the palace when they were in Italy for a holiday. Lupi means wolf.
