GOURDGEOUS!!

An exploration of colour and texture using a complimentary blend of oranges, yellows, purples and blues; the purples and blues in this case being an unusual choice of expression for colours associated with autumn – adding to the painting’s unique and decorative quality. I marvel at the streaky markings on gourds; something akin to marble or the swirling clouds of the planet, Jupiter.
