Hampton Court Emporium: (En Plein Air: work in situ)

Another local, East Molesey scene; this time, En Plein Air!

I’ve been working on this painting intermittently; En Plein Air before the heatwave, sometimes from a photo – on and off. I have always been attracted by Hampton Court Emporium’s Victorian exterior with it’s elegant Orangery – style window frames. Bridge Road itself is full of the 19th Century aesthetic.
